Refund policy

If a product is found damaged in transit upon arrival, please contact returns@absolute-carbon.com within one (1) day of receiving the product with a description and photo of the damage. If a product is found damaged in transit, a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package will be sent. Once your damaged item is received and approved by Absolute Carbon, a replacement of the exact same item will be sent. We reserve the right to refuse any return/refund if we suspect that any fraud or misrepresentation has occurred. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled, unmodified, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If the item meets this criteria, it may be returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt, however, a 20% restocking fee will apply. In these situations, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including the original delivery. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Cancellations
Cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of purchase, on all products. If after 24 hours, see below:

Made To Order Products (any product with a 6-8 week lead time)
Cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If the product has not yet shipped, all shipping fees will be refunded. If the product has shipped, it is subject to our Return Policy.

In Stock Products (any product without a 6-8 week lead time)
If the product has not shipped, a full refund will be issued. If a product has shipped, it is subject to our Return Policy.

Fitment Policy

If a product has a fitment issue, the product is to be returned to Absolute Carbon for evaluation. If a fitment issue is confirmed, an exchange will be granted. Absolute Carbon strongly urges professional installation on all products. For any fitment related issues, please begin by emailing photos to returns@absolute-carbon.com for evaluation.

Absolute Carbon assumes no liability for any installation or labor costs the customer may incur in connection with parts purchased from us. It is the customer’s responsibility to fully inspect all received parts for accuracy and quality before contracting an installation shop to do any labor. Once installation has occurred, DIY or professionally, the item is no longer returnable or refundable.

Fraudulent Charge / Chargeback Policy

Due to an increase in internet fraudulent charges, Absolute Carbon has implemented a fraudulent charge policy. If an issue is to arise with your order, please email us immediately at returns@absolute-carbon.com. Absolute Carbon considers credit card charge backs to be fraud if you have made no reasonable effort to work with us to resolve any problems with your purchase.

In the event of a chargeback, a $200 fee will be applied to the customer’s account to cover research and investigation. Filing a chargeback after receiving merchandise is fraud and we will prosecute any one that attempts or commits fraud against us. By filing a chargeback with your credit company either by mistake or intentionally, the products are no longer eligible for return.
