BMW F30 / F31 - AP Style Front Lip - Forged Carbon Fiber

I've had this front lip for about 4 months now. There are no predrilled holes or really any specific ways to install this. I saw on youtube that someone used self tapping screws. I purchased two different length screws to ensure that where I could grab extra "meat" that a longer screw was utilized but also maintained a healthy fear of accidentally puncturing something on the other side. All holes were predrilled through the carbon fiber as to eliminate any potential for cracking. I installed the piece with 3M double sided tape as a place holder/gasket and that more or less was how I made sure I had sufficient torque on the screws. I believe in the end I ran 14 self tapping screws. 2 months after install, I gave each screw about an additional half turn tighter. The car has been in excess of 100mph with no indication of movement or detaching. I have even received compliments from friends that note in the sun that the lip really shines. 5/5 and the price is right for something that has a higher than likelihood of getting damaged.
